Rural Property, Septic, and Well Water
Most of Wellton and the land around it sits outside municipal utilities. That means septic instead of city sewer, and in many cases a well instead of a metered connection. Both change what a water loss looks like and how you stop it.
There is no utility to send someone to shut the water off at the street, so knowing where your well pump breaker is matters far more here than it does in town. If a line lets go, killing power to the pump is the fastest way to stop the water. Find that breaker before you need it.
A septic backup out here is usually a full tank or a leach field that has quit accepting water, not a blocked city lateral. The cleanup is the same Category 3 work either way, but the fix is a different contractor.
